Chamber Programs/Events/Products - Creating a Strong Economy…  

Business After Hours - Business After Hours is an informal social event co-sponsored by the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce and a Chamber member firm. It regularly draws over 350+ business people who enjoy business-to-business networking in a fun and relaxed mixer.  

Business-to-Business Expo - The Business-to-Business Expo and After Hours is the area’s leading business-to-business trade show featuring the products and services of over 140 local business exhibitors and over 1,200 business people in attendance.  

Celebration of Business - The Celebration of Business has become one of the premier business events in our community with over 650 of Eugene and Springfield’s business and community leaders in attendance each year. The event features, among other things, the prestigious First Citizen and Future First Citizen awards, the business year in review video and more.  

CONTACT - CONTACT is an award-winning business retention, expansion and development program of the Eugene and Springfield Chambers of Commerce.   Every year Chamber members and community leaders personally reach out to local manufacturers and traded sector companies to help identify business challenges and opportunities and provide assistance.  

Economic Forecast - Oregon’s most comprehensive economic outlook for Lane County features a panel of leading economists along with local experts presenting insights and predictions on the economic future for the region for the year ahead.    

Emerald Awards - The Emerald Awards promotes the mutually beneficial relationship between community and commerce and honors the positive contributions business make to the business of community through sustainable business practices.  

Images of Eugene - Images of Eugene is a new annual magazine designed to promote our assets to prospective residents, businesses and visitors. Sponsored by the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce, Images of Eugene, a polished, four-color magazine showcases the people, natural beauty and progressive business climate of the area through original photography and professionally written stories.   

International Trade Roundtables - International Roundtables provide businesses active in international trade, or interested in becoming active in international business, an opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest, and to set forth resources and information designed to assist and encourage them.   

Joint Chamber Golf Classic - The Joint Chamber Golf Classic is among the most popular special events produced by the Eugene and Springfield Chambers of Commerce.  The Classic provides a great opportunity for the membership of both organizations to come together in a relaxed, fun environment.  The Tournament has been a “sell-out” each of the past 10 years.  

Lane County Youth Career Fair - This annual event provides employers the opportunity to meet and influence their future workforce—over 2000 area students preparing to enter the workforce.  

Lane Venture Forum - The Lane Venture Forum connects entrepreneurs who have quality business plans/investment opportunities with local investors.  

Latino Business Network –Promotes the success of Latino owned and/or managed businesses through peer networking and customized programs.  

Leadership Eugene-Springfield - Since 1986, the Eugene and Springfield Chambers of Commerce have promoted and fostered the development of volunteer leadership in our communities. Leadership Eugene-Springfield is a program designed to meet our area’s need for the active participation of informed, skilled and motivated community leaders.  

Literacy Partners - Understanding that strong literacy skills are fundamental to academic achievement, the Chamber is working with School District 4J and E3 to improve the reading skills of middle school students through a business mentoring effort.  

Open for Business - Open for Business is a bi-monthly business magazine produced by the Chamber that is committed to communicating the important contributions that businesses make to our area’s quality of life, highlighting issues and topics important to the economy and publicizing the important role the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce plays in promoting a healthy local economy.  

Roundtables - Business Roundtables are a series of business seminars presented by the Chamber that provide members of the business community with valuable information regarding a variety of key topics to support their business success.  

Women’s Business Leaders  - Women business owners and primary managers meet to advise, support and mentor one another in order to promote the success of their businesses.   

WorkTrends - WorkTrends is a one-day workforce leadership conference that features an impressive line-up of local and national experts. The event includes useful sessions designed to help businesses adapt to current workforce trends and gain the tools they need to succeed.

The site is used to promote the success of area businesses by providing useful information, serving as a portal for relocation prospects and community resources and provide information about the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce in order to build and retain Chamber membership.

Young Professionals Network - The mission of Young Professionals Network is to provide young business professionals with networking opportunities and relevant personal and professional development topics.
